Oige was a lifesaver when he gave me these lyrics! I may not have finished my senior project at all if not for these lyrics and the accompanying chords, and somehow Oige just had exactly the sort of thing I was trying to write. Thank you so much, Oige.

I received a brief message on Facebook from someone who did not have a chance to get to know Ogie well. He told me that the poppy seeds he planted in honor of Ogie are thriving. I, too, am happy to see so many poppy plants in my front yard. I love that Ogie is remembered through nature and beauty.

Just came across this web site. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Oige was such a neat kid, he continues to be in my prayers, and although you live with the pain of him gone, know others think of him often too. He is in a great place and would be proud to know he still lives on in all of our hearts. Thanks for sharing these pictures and memories of him. Love and Hugs, C.

Another season changes, another holiday seaons begins. I actively make the choice of being glad for the time I was privileged to spend with Oige so that the joy I experienced lives on.

To Oige and his family on Thanksgiving, the best I can do is quote a Buddhist prayer:

The Gatha of Impermanence

All composite things are impermanent,
They are subject to birth and death;
Put an end to birth and death,
And there is blissful tranquility.
